Call to Order at 7:06 p.m. by President Sara Ostrander
Pre-meeting concerns from Janet. Improved crosswalk at Placid(?) and Telephone.
Police Report, Amanda Kamfar. Crime Analyst, Ventura Police Department: total of 73 crimes. 27 assaults, 3 burglaries, 9 drugs, 5 (?), 16 larceny/theft, 16? 1 robbery, 8?, 3 vehicle thefts, 1 extortion/blackmail.
Dean question: seem to be clustered.

- Treasurer’s Report: $928.76 balance. A check was sent to the State for $25
- Announcements: Our district representatives were absent

Other Community Announcements
Maruja Clensay, City of Ventura Community Development Department Announcement: Launch of public survey for updated General Plan land use map – 805-677-3964. Formerly chief of staff for Matt LaVere, and land use planner. Matt is not pursuing re-election. Sharing general plan-land use map survey. April/May 2024 1st round of feedback, 200 additional public comments. Relationship to zoning, coastal plan. Rethinking the land use, adding 3 new designations to make 34 designations total. 16 are unchanged. Projected website: Planventura.com/updated-land-use-map. Online feedback form, completing a 3rd round of comments. Survey open until October 21, 2024. Story map feature is a unique tool.
GPAC meetings: November 18th, December 2nd, February TBD.

Sam question: House has been approved, required 8 year update. None of the others have been approved. Advisory committee has to review all the other chapters.
